Travel can be just as stressful as it can be enjoyable. Here are a few ways you can make your trip stress free.

1. Plan your plane entertainment.

Don't you just hate when you get on a plane expecting their to be some entertainment and there are no movie screens or you have to pay to watch a movie? A great way to avoid all this is to plan ahead! Get a book you've been dying to read or download some movies on your table or phone ahead of time!

2. Download offline maps.

If you're coming to a new place and are worried about your access to wifi or cell phone provider service. Downloading offline maps can give you the peace of mind you need to explore.

3 Get mobile boarding passes.

Avoid the long lines if you can by getting mobile boarding passes. Most airlines now have their own applications which allow you to access your boarding pass on your phone and also check in ahead of your flight!

4. Leave early.

Do you have bags to check? Be sure to head to the airport early especially during the holidays when there may be lots of travelers. It's better to be sitting waiting on your flight than running to the gate. I've done both and trust me, it's so much more relaxing to be able to just wait for your flight or even be able to grab some breakfast.

5. Check your passport expiration date.

Do this when you are booking your flight because the worst thing would be to have an expired passport when you're trying to travel.. To be safe, make sure that your passport is valid for at least six months after your intended return date.

Use these 5 tips to ensure you have an easier time during your travels. Are there other things you do for stress free travel, tell me in the comments!
